Design of plastic storage tanks

 (1) the fuel tank must be large enough.On the one hand, it can meet the requirement of heat dissipation as much as possible; on the other hand, it should be able to accommodate all working media in the system when the hydraulic system stops working, and maintain the appropriate liquid level when working.

(2) the suction pipe and return pipe shall be inserted below the minimum liquid level to prevent air bubbles from cavitation and oil spill.The distance between the pipe opening and the bottom and the wall of the box is generally not less than 3 times of the pipe diameter.The suction pipe can be installed with a network type or a line gap type filter of l00 or so. The installation position should be convenient for loading, unloading and cleaning the filter.Return pipe mouth to 45 ° oblique cutting.Angle and face the tank wall to prevent the return oil from impacting the bottom of the tank sediment, and also conducive to heat dissipation.

(3) the distance between the suction hose and return hose should be as far as possible should be set between the diaphragm and to increase the flow circulation way, this can improve the effect of cooling, air separation and precipitation of impurities.The partition height is 2/3~3/4 of the liquid level height.

(4) in order to keep the oil liquid clean, the fuel tank should have a sealing cover around it. The cover plate is equipped with an air filter. Generally, oil injection and ventilation are completed by an air filter.For the convenience of oil discharge and cleaning, the bottom of the box should have a certain degree of incline, and set the oil discharge valve at the lowest place.For the tank which is not easy to open the cover, a cleaning hole should be set to facilitate the internal cleaning of the tank.

(5) the bottom of the fuel tank shall be more than l50mm away from the ground for easy handling, oil discharge and heat dissipation.The lifting lug should be set at the proper position of the fuel tank for lifting, and the level gauge should be set to monitor the level.

(6) sufficient attention should be paid to the anti-corrosion treatment of the inner surface of the fuel tank.Common methods are:

1) phosphorylation after pickling.Suitable for all media, but limited by pickling phosphating tank, the tank should not be too large.

2) apply anti-rust oil directly after shot blasting.Suitable for general mineral oil and synthetic hydraulic oil, not suitable for water-bearing hydraulic fluid.Because it is not limited by treatment conditions, this method is widely used in large fuel tanks.

3) hot spray aluminum oxide after sand blasting.Suitable for all media except water - ethylene glycol.

4) spray the sand and plastic.Apply to all media.However, due to the limitation of drying equipment, the fuel tank should not be too large.
