The principle of rotational molding
The basic process of rotational moulding is very simple powder or liquid polymer in the die and mould heating around a vertical axis of rotation and revolution, and then cooling molding. In the initial heating stage, if you are using a powdered material, first in the mold is formed on the surface of the porous layer, and then gradually melt with the cyclic process, finally the formation of uniform thickness homogeneous layer; if you are using a liquid material, the first flow and coated on the surface of the mould, when reaching the gel point is completely stopped flow. The mold is then transferred to the cooling area, and is then placed in the workspace by forced ventilation or spray cooling. Here, the mold is opened, the finished parts are taken away, and then the next cycle is carried out.
